At SageRiver Consulting, we envision a world in which organizations and communities imagine, explore and pursue transformation. This vision inspires us as we engage with our clients—and as we volunteer in our community to create positive change for women and children.
Our founder, Susan Heinzeroth, has served on numerous nonprofit boards and traveled on service-focused trips. She is currently a board member for The Blue Bench (formerly known as the Rape Assistance and Awareness Program), and she previously served as a board member for the YMCA Central Branch and Denver CASA and as co-chair of Mayor Michael B. Hancock’s Transition Committee. She has also volunteered as a girls’ soccer coach and as a Junior Achievement advisor.
We invite you to explore and learn more about the organizations we support:
Serving Women & Children
Child Advocates – Denver CASA recruits, trains and supports volunteers to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in the Denver Juvenile Courts. Our volunteers work tirelessly to help children in foster care.
At The Blue Bench (formerly RAAP), our mission is to eliminate sexual assault and diminish the impact it has on individuals, their loved ones and our community through comprehensive issue advocacy, prevention and care.
