Custom Facilitation and Team Building
Challenge
Starbucks' leadership was interested in building a strong team among 200 manager-level employees. Their goals were to create shared ownership of their vision, improve team communications, strengthen collaboration and build appreciation of individual skills. They also wanted to have fun!
Project
To meet those goals, SageRiver co-designed a highly interactive session for 200 managers at a location on the West Coast. This session included a motivational key-note speech, adventure-style team experiences and facilitated discussions to glean learnings from the shared activities.
Results
The high-energy event received the highest satisfaction ratings from participant evaluations, and our client sponsor indicated the team experiences influenced future interactions among the manager group.
