Business Analysis and Litigation Support

Challenge

When a key software system failed to meet the requirements, American Airlines retained SageRiver Consulting to complete an analysis in support of its position in multi-party litigation.

Project

SageRiver led an engagement team charged with providing litigation support for American Airlines by analyzing all aspects of software quality assurance associated with the development of an integrated reservations system. Several major travel companies chartered development of this system. When software development fell behind schedule and the software functionality didn’t match the users' expectations/specifications, litigation between all the partners ensued.

Results

The analysis conducted by the SageRiver-led team was used to support American Airlines' position in the litigation.
