Stakeholder Engagement and Custom Facilitation
Challenge
Committed to health and well-being since 2008, the LiveWell Longmont (LWL) coalition strives to positively impact community health by supporting education, shaping wellness policies and inspiring and enabling community members to engage in healthier lifestyles. To expedite its important work, the coalition retained SageRiver Consulting to streamline and enhance communications and engage stakeholders in adopting a decision-making protocol.
Project
SageRiver tailored a highly interactive workshop agenda for 60+ participants in the LWL coalition, incorporating a graphic artist to capture the workgroup's discussion. Hands-on activities engaged the group in clarifying roles and responsibilities, identifying key components of an LWL communications plan and gaining consensus about how LWL decisions would be made.
Results
The collaboration produced a vivid visual, the LWL Graphic Recording, clarifying roles and responsibilities of numerous committees and task forces comprising the LWL coalition. Additionally, SageRiver facilitated the group to consensus on a decision-making protocol adopted via charter.
